about earth metric time (EMT)
Everyone everywhere experiences time. Over time, time has become so convoluted that it is difficult to even discuss time. As we step through time into the future, we should make time to improve how we share time with one another.
EMT is a tool to help us simplify our understanding of time. As Earth dwellers, we should think about time in a way that makes sense to everyone on Earth. On Earth, the most relevant measure of time is the rotation of the Earth, both its spin and its revolution around the sun.
The metric system currently bases time on the second but arguably shoudl base time on an approximation of an earth day. The second represents an approximation of a fraction of an earth day. However, 1/86400 of a day is not the easiest way to reason about a day.

If you asked, "What time is it?" I would probably reply "?" because a milli (thousandth of a day) is similar to a minute which is a useful chunk of time to communicate.
